Can you add karo syrup to formula to relieve newborn constipation or must it be mixed with water? - throwing constipation
My son is 12 weeks stools hard and painful for him the way that my doctor told me he mixed a bottle of Karo syrup with water. He takes it well, but then it is no longer fills a formula diet B / C. And your immediate future, all power and rejects the clock. My question is, can I transfer the diamonds to the formula, or should be independent of water only?

Karo syrup is corn, which is very unhealthy for anyone, especially a child, you should investigate and find a healthier alternative.
I am a nurse for over 19 years, and I have never seen a doctor, it suggested. When the syrup overdose can cause severe diarrhea and dehydration. I want to find me for any other cause or causes of constipation. Perhaps there is a problem, intestinal or babies? I spoke with two of our pediatricians and they said they would never tell a mother that a bottle of water with Karo syrup. The mainly the relief of symptoms, but can not find a solution to an ongoing problem. Good luck.
Oh, dear.
What an idiot of a doctor.
Of Karo syrup is one of two things you should not old for a baby under one year, since the spores of botulism (honey the other).
"The American Academy of Pediatrics warns that due to the potential risk of contamination of botulinum babies are in corn syrup.
I think the basis of age of 12 weeks of hard stool is iron overload. The very dark stools?
My son did the same when I was younger, experienced. If a bottle has (when water is added, add the Kayo syrup, then the formula and then mix ...)
because your child is still too young, do not mix with water and give it to him. Babies are not only water for up to six months old
You can put in the formula
Care, but give your baby a sweet tooth (a little / almost);)
You can even for hard / dry stool dilute the formula a little, or call one or two ounces of water.
You can put in the formula. Our pediatrician said, used in the formula.
Our doctor told me to add to your form and do not give it separately in water. Thumbs Down Why me? It was a statement. Haha.
